SUMMARY:Mad Pride: Mad City
DESCRIPTION:Mad Pride: Mad City\nExhibition runs: July 8th – July 24th 2016\nOpening Fri\, July 8th 6-9pm \nWe are united by the belief at Gallery Gachet that art is a means of survival\, sometimes it’s the only way. But to find out\, we first must survive. \nWe’ve come together\, and built a great show and of course\, there’s a lot more to it – and to Gachet– than hanging artwork on walls. The point is to exist\, defiantly\, and be a space where folks with mental illnesses and all kinds of outsidernesses and othernesses can find and create a base and a community. It’s about the possibilities and the union of art\, politics and community to make change. It’s about holding this space in this neighbourhood. And the point of this art is the idea that this – this fucked up world – doesn’t have to be this way\, that there is nothing inevitable or natural about history\, that choices have been made by people in power\, past and present\, that have oppressed us collectively and individually and look a lot like suicidal tendencies globally. \nSo call us crazy. All of us\, all the time. \nAnd that’s the point of Gachet\, the point to real art: that there are still ways to live\, to connect with others\, to deal with this situation\, to control and order our own lives. Freedom is what it is\, and it’s complicated and hard\, but it’s totally worth it. \nSo this is our Mad Pride. Mad Pride is an international movement created by psychiatric survivors\, consumers\, folks labeled “mentally ill” — all of us that proudly reclaim the words mad & crazy\, and those in solidarity with us. We are mad. We are crazy. And we are damn proud to be. We believe madness is a completely sane and welladjusted response to living in such a mad world\, in such a mad city\, in these terribly mad times.\n……………………..……………………..……………………..………….. \nGallery Gachet’s Salon Shop presents:The Expressive Arts Group\nExhibition run : July 8th - July 24th 2016\nOpening Fri\, July 8th 6-9pm \nThe Salon Shop is Gachet’s micro exhibition space and shop that features the artworks\, crafts\, and other arts objects of local community members\, as well as Gachet volunteer\, associate and collective members. \nExpressive Arts is a weekly community art-making workshop held at Gallery Gachet every Monday from 1-3 pm. Every week\, we engage in the process of art-making as a means of self-expression\, soul exploration\, community healing\, time wasting\, socializing\, peer education and plain old fun. This exhibition is the result of an ongoing process by the group’s fantastic members\, and serves as a spotlight on an invaluable community resource. \nContributing artists: Jim Pattison\, Graham Cunningham\, Laurie Marshall\, Mike Levin\, Yaho-Hanan Fiwchuk\, Jaz Pawa\, Robyn Livingstone \nExhibition coordinated by Katherine Somody\, Expressive Arts Facilitator

SUMMARY:Feminist Zombie Rag Dolls by Diane Wood
DESCRIPTION:In the 3rd floor Gallery of the Carnegie Community Centre\, for the month of July; Artist’s reception on Tuesday July 5th From 4:30 – 6:00. \nI started making art dolls – witches\, pirates\, clowns & Alice in Wonderland a few years ago. When I discovered\, thanks to Google\, that female pirates had really lived\, I read everything I could on them. \nFor this show\, I have researched and created an 18 member girl gang of notorious bad girls and freedom fighters\, like the group who sat down to eat at Judy Chicago’s Dinner Party. These strong\, independent women swam against the tide of their times\, and challenged the public belief “You can’t do that because you’re a WOMAN!” \nWestern Civilization has swept their accomplishments under the rug\, and out of the HIStory books. You’ve heard of Mata Hari\, the dancer who was executed as a spy & Lucrezia Borgia\, the Pope’s pretty daughter. \nDo you know the names of cross-dressing pirates\, bandits & soldiers\, warrior queens who resisted the colonization of their land\, and artists who created in a world where women were only exhibited in galleries if they were nude models? \nI would like to thank the Vancouver Foundation for the Small Arts Grant I used to buy art supplies. \ne: dtesartsgrants@gmail.com\np: 604-665-2213\nw: vancouverfoundationsmallarts.ca\nt & i: @VancouverFdn #VF #VFFDN #DTESSAG

SUMMARY:Democracy or Freedom presentation with Crimethinc
DESCRIPTION:In the year of Trump and Clinton\, the failings of democracy are stark enough. But is the problem too little democracy\, or too much? From the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to Occupy and Nuit Debout\, practically everyone claims to be democratic. In this provocative presentation\, we’ll discuss what ties all these different understandings of democracy together and what sets anarchism apart. \nhttp://www.crimethinc.com/ \nhttp://www.crimethinc.com/texts/r/democracy/ \nAccessibility Info: The venue is situated on the south side of Blood Alley Square. SUMMARY:A Maze to Trap the Living: Society and the Unique One
DESCRIPTION:Get your copy of Enemies of Society at 38 Blood Alley for the reading group discussing the anthology of individualist and egoist thought. We will discuss section 5 pg 199-330. \n“Individualism is the sentiment of a profound\, irreducible antinomy between the individual and society. The individualist is he who\, by virtue of his temperament\, is predisposed to feel in a particularly acute fashion the ineluctable disharmonies between his intimate being and his social milieu. At the same time\, he is a man for whom life has reserved some decisive occasion to remark this disharmony. Whether through brutality\, or the continuity of his experiences\, for him it has become clear that for the individual society is a perpetual creator of constraints\, humiliations and miseries\, a kind of continuous generation of human pain. In the name of his own experience and his personal sensation of life the individualist feels he has the right to relegate to the rank of utopia any ideal of a future society where the hoped-for harmony between the individual and society will be established. Far from the development of society diminishing evil\, it does nothing but intensify it by rendering the life of the individual more complicated\, more laborious and more difficult in the middle of the thousand gears of an increasingly tyrannical social mechanism. Science itself\, by intensifying within the individual the consciousness of the vital conditions made for him by society\, arrives only at darkening his intellectual and moral horizons. Qui auget scientiam augel et dolorem. \nWe see that individualism is essentially a social pessimism. Under its most moderate form it admits that if life in society is not an absolute evil and completely destructive of individuality\, for the individualist is at the very least a restrictive and oppressive condition\, a necessary evil and a last resort.” \nAccessibility Info: The venue is situated on the south side of Blood Alley Square. There are several cobblestones\, but there is ramp access and it’s an open space once inside. There are fewer cobblestones to navigate coming from Abbott as opposed to Carrall. The washroom is not fully WC accessible\, the doorway is about 27 inches wide. \nThis event is taking place on occupied and unceded Coast Salish Territories.

SUMMARY:Vancouver Food Conversations: What's With the Ethnic Aisle?
DESCRIPTION:#VanFoodConvo \nJoin us for the first in a series of free Vancouver Food Conversations about issues relating to our Food System. \nTopic: Why is the food movement so white? & What’s with the ethnic Aisle?\nModerator: Lily Grewal\nPanelists: Niki Sharma\, Kevin Huang\, Alejandra Lopez\, Jason E. Blackman-Wulff and Stephanie Lim. \nWhy is the food movement so white? And what’s up with the ethnic aisle? \nOn May 19th attendees of the Vancouver Food Summit gathered to discuss the issue of “Why is the food movement so white?” during one of the panels. Panelists spoke passionately about the history of oppression in Vancouver\, how people of colour have been systematically and intentionally excluded by policies\, and shared lived experiences. \nDiving deeper into this conversation\, together we’ll explore the systemic factors that reinforce and maintain the whiteness of the food movement\, as well as ideas about how to counter and call out racism where we see\, and direction for what allies can do. \nWe will also\, of course\, discuss how societal cues\, like the “ethnic aisle” serve to keep many people in Vancouver feeling like “the other” and not included even at a very basic interaction with the food system like purchasing food. \nHosted by: \nGordon Neighbourhood House**\nHeartwood\nMuseum of Vancouver\nMount Pleasant Neighbourhood House**\nhua foundation \n** Members of the Association of Neighbourhood Houses BC – ANHBC \nMenu Options at Heartwood:\n– Soup for the People http://www.heartwoodcc.ca/soup-for-the-people.html\n– Dinner menu: http://www.heartwoodcc.ca/weekday-menus.html. \n– – – \nAccessibility Info:\nThe Radical Accessibility Mapping Project has kindly done an accessibility audit for the space\, which you can find at http://www.heartwoodcc.ca/accessibility-info.html. Heartwood’s washrooms are currently not wheelchair or scooter accessible. The neighbouring Starbucks kindly welcomes our patrons to use their fully physically accessible washrooms without the need to purchase anything. Please note that Starbucks washrooms are not a scent-free space. \nHeartwood is a child-friendly space with a play area for little ones to romp and play in. Feel free to bring kids to the event! \nSeating: Heartwood has wooden chairs in addition to some plastic folding chairs\, both with no padding. There is one two seater couch in the space. Please let us know if you need us to reserve a certain kind of seat for you. \nIf you have specific accessibility needs or questions please feel free to email our Community Development Manager\, Melanie at melanie@heartwoodcc.ca. \nThe organizers of this Vancouver Food Conversation acknowledge that this event takes place on the unceded\, occupied\, ancestral and traditional lands of the Musqueam\, Skxwú7mesh\, and Tsleil-Waututh nations. We encourage everyone to think about the historical and ongoing colonial genocide against Indigenous peoples.

SUMMARY:Marxist Reading Group: Session 2-3 (State and Revolution by V.I Lenin)
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, June 16th & Thursday\, June 30th @7pm\nCentre for Socialist Education\n706 Clark Drive\,\nVancouver\, Unceded Coast Salish Territories \nThis is for the 2nd and 3rd session of the Marxist Reading Group. We will be reading State and Revolution by V.I Lenin. It describes the role of the State in society\, the necessity of proletarian revolution\, and the theoretic inadequacies of social democracy in achieving revolutionary change in society that gives power to the working class/proletariat. \nThis bi-weekly Marxist Reading Group is put on by The Young Communist League-Vancouver at the Centre for Socialist Education. For the first session\, we read Marx. Other sessions include Lenin’s book on Imperialism\, and Michael Parenti’s book\, “Blackshirts and Reds.” \nWe encourage people of all levels of learning to join the group and attend our sessions\, from beginners who have never read a word of Marx to those who can recite him verbatim. We are by no means the authority on these matters and we hope that together through conversation we can gain a better understanding on these ideas and their application to the world today. SUMMARY:Paint-in against Demovictions on mass eviction-day in Metrotown
DESCRIPTION:What: Painting\, music and speeches \nWhen: 4-6pm\, Thursday\, June 30th \nWhere: 6750 Dunblane\, north east corner of Dunblane/Imperial intersection in Metrotown\, Burnaby \nThursday\, June 30th is the eviction day for the tenants of three rental apartment buildings on Imperial Street\, Metrotown. These buildings\, containing 47 affordable rental units\, are the latest to face demolition in the Metrotown area. The over 80 tenants who will be displaced on June 30th add to the hundreds of low-income renters already displaced through demoviction in Metrotown. \nOn the two Dunblane blocks\, just north of Imperial Street where these building are located\, approximately 300 residents have already been demovicted\, and altogether over 700 renters will have been displaced from these two blocks by 2017 if all planned rezoning applications are approved. Burnaby City Council has not reached out to any of the tenants facing displacement and is not planning to build any social housing to replace the units lost. Unless City Hall changes the demoviction policies it seems intent to impose on all renters in Metrotown\, then the housing and displacement crisis facing these Dunblane residents today will eventually affect thousands of Burnaby renters tomorrow. \nJoin us on Thursday\, June 30th for a community paint-in\, music\, and speeches in resistance to the mass demovictions underway in Metrotown. We are gathering on June 30th because it is eviction-day for residents of three buildings on Imperial and Marlborough in Metrotown. They are all being pushed out of their homes\, many to uncertain futures\, for Amacon Development Corporation’s profits with a new condo project. \nAt the “paint-in” community members and anti-demoviction activists will paint one of the demovicted buildings (which is awaiting demolition for a high-rise) with messages in support of the people being displaced and calling for an end to Burnaby’s mass demoviction and displacement policies. The paint-in will be a family friendly event\, with child-friendly paints available. \nWe acknowledge that this action takes place on the unceded territories of the Tsleil-Waututh\, Qayqayt\, and Kwikwetlem nations. \nFacebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/135700300186029/ \nRead the Dunblane Demoviction Report\, here. \nEmail organize@stopdisplacement.ca for questions or media inquiries.

SUMMARY:Protest Against Education Austerity
DESCRIPTION:We are organizing a rally against austerity towards students! \nThe BC ministry of education has put the Vancouver School Board through dozens of budget shortfalls in the past and quite recently. The VSB is exploring the possibilities of closing up to 19-21 schools\, mainly on Vancouver’s East Side: a place where the working-class\, urban First Nations\, and immigrants are concentrated. School closures were recommended by consulting firm Ernst and Young\, acting on behalf of the Liberal provincial government\, as part of an “asset rationalization approach” to manage the VSB’s finances. The provincial government has continually reduced funding for public education\, and has previously asked the VSB to close schools before the board goes ahead with seismic upgrades. The school closures would mean that by 2030\, up to 5\,167 fewer seats would be available in Vancouver’s schools. The “Long Range Facilities Plan” \, which proposes school closures and came as a result of Ernst and Young’s report\, has been tentatively adopted by the VSB and will become final\, after some public consultation\, by June 30th. \nWhat the BC Student Alliance intends on doing is organizing a rally on the private property of the VSB at 1:00PM on the deadline of the Budget proposals (June 30)\, to stand in solidarity with all the marginalized students that are not being heard by the ministries bureaucracy. It will be similar to the “Rally for Education” organized on May 28th but with not only high schoolers speaking. We will have teachers and university students alike speaking about confronting austerity in whatever form it takes on. \nMore details on this event will be posted shortly.

SUMMARY:Spartacus Book Club - Women\, Race and Class
DESCRIPTION:On June 29th the Spartacus Book Club will be meeting to discuss Women\, Race and Class by Angela Davis. \n“Longtime activist\, author and political figure Angela Davis brings us this expose of the women’s movement in the context of the fight for civil rights and working class issues. She uncovers a side of the fight for suffrage many of us have not heard: the intimate tie between the anti-slavery campaign and the struggle for women’s suffrage. She shows how the racist and classist bias of some in the women’s movement have divided its own membership. Davis’ message is clear: If we ever want equality\, we’re gonna have to fight for it together.”

SUMMARY:Radio Alice
DESCRIPTION:We will be showing the film Radio Alice at 7pm. \nRadio Alice was an Italian free radio broadcasting from Bologna at the end of the 1970s. It started transmitting on 9 February 1976 using an ex-military transmitter on a frequency of 100.6 MHz. The station was closed by the carabinieri on 12 March 1977. Radio Alice then re-opened again for two years and became politically aligned with the autonomism movement. After closure\, the frequency was then given by the state to Radio Radicale. Radio Alice’s output covered a myriad of subjects: labor protests\, poetry\, yoga lessons\, political analysis\, love declarations\, cooking recipes\, Jefferson Airplane\, Area or Beethoven music. Participants in the station included Franco “Bifo” Berardi\, Maurizio Torrealta\, Filippo Scòzzari and Paolo Ricci. In 2002 some former staff members participated in the founding of Orfeo TV\, the first Telestreet pirate TV. \nAccessibility Info: The venue is situated on the south side of Blood Alley Square. There are several cobblestones\, but there is ramp access and it’s an open space once inside. There are fewer cobblestones to navigate coming from Abbott as opposed to Carrall. The washroom is not fully WC accessible\, the doorway is about 27 inches wide.

SUMMARY:Pretty Amazing book launch & art show
DESCRIPTION:INVITATION – Please join us from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday\, June 29th to celebrate the launch of Teresa’s art and poetry book. (Details below) \nBook Description: Pretty Amazing: How I Found Myself in the Downtown Eastside \nWhat does Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside look like through the eyes of an artist—an artist who also happens to have Down syndrome? Teresa Pocock’s colourful art and poetry let’s us see\, hear and feel it from her unique viewpoint. \nThe heart of Pretty Amazing is the unexpected story of Teresa finding herself as an artist and poet. Previously\, Teresa’s artistic expression was discouraged and ridiculed. \nHer opening poem\, ‘I Am Alive’\, packs added punch when you know that her future was written off a few years ago when she lived in Ontario. In 2013\, Teresa was forced into an Ontario nursing home against her will. The Ontario health-care system had wrapped her in—as disability advocate Paul Young aptly describes it —“a cocoon of impossibility”. Against her wishes\, Teresa’s liberty and freedom was traded for a single bed in an end-of-life nursing home. It was a violation of her human rights. She did not want to be there. Teresa had things to do\, places to go\, and people to meet! \nIn the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver\, Teresa has found her voice. It is a voice that talks about feeling “butterflies”\, but still finds the courage to fly. Teresa has\, in her own words\, been “reborn in Gastown.” \nTeresa’s Pretty Amazing book will be available for purchase. (The book will also be available on Amazon.ca\, in print and ebook formats.) \nPlus… Eighteen 4 ft x 5 ft artworks by Teresa will be on display. Admission is free. The artist’s favourite refreshments\, cranberry juice and raspberry bars\, will be served! \nTHE DETAILS… \nBook Launch and Art Show: “Pretty Amazing: How I Found Myself in the Downtown Eastside” by Teresa Pocock.\nDate/Time: June 29th from 5pm to 8pm.\nLocation: Gallery Gachet\, 88 East Cordova St.\, Vancouver\, BC\nAdmission: Free\nRefreshments: Cranberry juice and raspberry bars will be served!\nWebsite: www.PrettyAmazing.ca \nWho made this Pretty Amazing event possible?\nTeresa won a DTES Small Arts grant to create the illustrated book. The Vancouver Foundation created the Downtown Eastside Small Arts Grants Program\, in partnership with the Carnegie Community Centre\, to help DTES artists advance their careers by supporting and showcasing their work.

SUMMARY:Q & A with Rob Fleming
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a student lead Q & A with Rob Fleming: who is a current MLA from the constituency of Victoria-Swan Lake. In the 39th parliament he became the New Democratic critic for advanced education\, sat on the Select Standing Committee for education\, and introduced two education related private member bills: the Private Post-Secondary Accountability and Student Protection Act\, and the Restoring Credibility to Universities Act. \nThis event will consist of a group of high school students asking questions related to his opinions on education as a whole and an in depth analysis the NDP’s platform on child’s rights in general when it comes to issues we find important. \nThe event will be from 1:00-3:00PM at SFU in the room mbc 2294-2296. Map of how to find – http://www.sfu.ca/campuses/maps-and-directions/burnaby-map.html \nWe really recommend people show up to this\, it is a unique event because it is actual students talking about the issues that mean a lot to them and representing themselves in actual provincial politics. \nPS the BCSA is a non-partisan organization\, and the views expressed by Rob Fleming will not necessarily reflect ours.

SUMMARY:Urgent Action: Confront Housing Ministers - Stop Displacement\, Build Homes
DESCRIPTION:URGENT ACTION: Confront Housing Ministers: Stop Displacement and Build Homes Now! \nOn Tuesday June 28th\, a major gathering of Provincial\, Territorial and Federal housing minsters will convene just blocks away from Victoria’s long-standing Super InTent City to discuss homelessness and housing action. Meanwhile\, the BC Liberal government is taking that tent city back to court for a second attempt at an injunction to use police to scatter homeless people out of public view rather than out of homelessness. \nActivists from West to East are converging on BC’s capital to press the Minster’s conference for action to end homelessness\, not manage or displace it. Join us to send a loud and strong message to the Ministersthat they must stop the displacement of Super InTent City and end homelessness now. We will meet at the fountain beside the hotel where the Ministers are meeting\, then make our way to the hotel. \nDEMANDS: \n1. Stop the displacement of Super InTent City! Tent Cities are places of safety\, survival\, and resistance against anti-homeless bigotry and police movealongs. They should be ended only by building enough housing and ending anti-poor laws and ideas that make them necessary. We demand that the government stop criminalizing and displacing the homeless\, and that the BC Liberals cancel the injunction and displacement threat against Super InTent City in Victoria. \n2. End homelessness now! We call on federal and provincial governments to build 78\,000 units of social housing at welfare/pension rates every year in Canada until homelessness is ended. We calculate that we need 10\,000 units of social housing every year in British Columbia to end homelessness\, and BC has 13% of the population of Canada. Despite claims to the contrary\, the Federal budget for housing is primarily directed towards shelters\, support staff\, renovation and maintenance of existing housing\, and market subsidies. It will not end the housing crisis on Indigenous reserves or the homelessness crisis in cities and town across Canada. Super InTent City residents and other homeless communities in British Columbia have rejected shelters and institutionalizing “supportive” housing project and we join them in demanding that governments build the homes we need now! \nORGANIZERS: This action is supported by an ad hoc coalition of groups including Alliance Against Displacement\, Carnegie Community Action Project\, Homes Not Hate\, Pivot Legal Society\, and Together Against Poverty Society. \n***This event is being held on the traditional and current territories of the Lekwungen people. Dispossession and displacement go hand in hand. Disproportionately high numbers of Indigenous people are homeless\, as a result of colonialism.*** \nAccessibility: The rallying point is 1 flat block from the #32\, 47\, 47\, 48\, 50\, 61\, 70\, 71\, 72\, and 75 bus stop on Government\, and 2 flat blocks from the #3\, 27\, 28\, 30\, and 31 bus stop on Belleville.

DESCRIPTION:Super InTent City has survived for 8 months and accomplished so much in that time\, including saving lives\, building community\, asserting homeless people’s political power\, and getting a commitment for 178 units of long-term housing towards the crisis of 1400 people living outside or in emergency shelters. \nOn June 27-28 Super InTent CityZens are once again going to court to fight the BC government’s attempt to displace the camp. If you can’t come\, we will do our best to arrange pickup of pre-made food/drinks from your place on the day of the event. If you can come feel free to bring art supplies too\, to make posters and placards showing love for the camp! Or if you live far away or won’t be in town\, you can email a support message to superintentcity@gmail.com and we’ll print it and bring it to the camp. \n***This event is being held on the traditional and current territories of the Lekwungen people. SUMMARY:Left Film Night: Persepolis
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, June 26\, 7 pm\nCentre for Socialist Education\,\n706 Clark Drive\, Vancouver (corner of Clark & E. Georgia)\nUnceded Coast Salish Territories \nFrance/USA\, 2007\, dir. Vincent Paronnaud and Marjane Satrapi\, 96 minutes) \nTraditionally animated in black and white flashbacks\, this Oscar-nominated film tells the story of a girl’s childhood and young adulthood in Iran and in Vienna during the 1980s and ’90s. Marjane Satrapi grew up in a family of revolutionaries opposed to the Shah’s regime and then the Islamic government which took power in 1979. Persepolis literally illustrates her feelings and thoughts as a little girl\, following her as fundamentalist control in Iran becomes more strict. When her parents insist she leave the country\, we see her struggling to deal with adolescence and missing her beloved family; when she returns\, she has to cope with the increasing repression of her freedoms as a woman. Persepolis beautifully balances both the historic and personal issues and pulls the threads together into a compelling narrative\, made a bit quirky by the style of presentation\, resulting in work that is altogether touching. Along with intelligence and humor\, a deep and strong sense of truth infuses every part of the film. \nNo admission charge\, but donations towards our costs are welcome. Coffee and refreshments available. Left Film Nights are presented by the Centre for Socialist Education\, Young Communist League\, and the Vancouver East Club of the Communist Party of Canada. Call 604-255-2041 or email <pvoice@telus.net> for further information.

SUMMARY:Global Action for Ayotzinapa and Oaxaca Teachers-CNTE
\n________________________________________\nIt has been 21 months since the forced disappearance of the 43 students of Ayotzinapa\, and the acts of repression from the Mexican State have not stopped. This same State has now murdered the teachers who have been rising this month. We stand in solidarity with the teachers and their organization the CNTE (National Coordinator for Education Workers) and we say: they are not alone! we stand together in resistance and collective dignity! \nWe repudiate the repressive-violent imposition of the capitalist neoliberal education ‘reform’ that the State wants to impose in the states of Oaxaca\, Chiapas\, Guerrero and Michoacán. \nFor these reasons we call for the solidarity of comrades and civil society organizations. We ask you to join us to demand the end of violence and the violation of the labour rights of indigenous people\, urban villages\, and peasants in Mexico. \nThis situation doesn’t occur only in Mexico. Here in Vancouver the government is threatening to close down 12 schools\, 11 of them in East Vancouver\, including schools with some of the highest populations of poor and Indigenous students. At the same time the provincial government subsidizes private schools that are only accessible to the rich. This is the same process of neoliberal privatization of education. It is class war being waged by the capitalist interest and the patriarchal system against the people. \nEducation\, health\, land\, food\, peace and security are not commodities but guarantees of life. \nWe demand an end to repression against the teachers’ struggle and the immediate and unconditional release of ALL political prisoners. \nLet’s continue informing ourselves and organizing autonomously outside the framework of Mexican political parties.
