First Monthly IntersAction

Now that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and BC Premier Christy Clarke have granted Federal and Provincial approval of the Kinder Morgan pipeline, it is crucial that the climate justice movement have a strong public presence to send a clear message:

NO CONSENT NO PIPELINE!

Climate Convergence Vancouver has begun a campaign of monthly IntersActions to keep up the pressure and expose the lies of Trudeau, Clark and their oil company friends. We know that this pipeline does not have the consent of indigenous nations, is not environmentally friendly and is not a significant or sustainable source of jobs.

Join us for the first of these dynamic monthly action as we hold banners, chant, distribute information, collect petition signatures and continue to build the climate justice movement to ensure THIS PIPELINE WILL NOT BE BUILT!

This event takes place on the traditional, unceded, occupied territories of the Coast Salish peoples.

What is an IntersAction?
It’s an action where we flood an intersection on all sides with people crossing (on the light) with signs and banners without stopping the flow of traffic. This way we can be seen by and engage with the most people.
