————————–————————–————————–

Genocide is the extermination project against a people, their language, culture, and spiritual cosmos. All six of the inhabited continents have been sites of genocide. Genocide can be an ongoing process and is always an exercise of power and an assertion of presumed supremacy. Genocide Across Space and Time is both a forum and opportunity for popular education, consciousness-raising, and collective action. From defense of human rights to anti-imperialist struggles, resistance to genocide manifests itself in ways as diverse as the peoples subjected to past and present genocidal campaigns. Asserting their diverse experiences while linking their struggles. community organizers and survivors will, on July 21, converge to build solidarity and build on popular movements towards liberation from structural racism, patriarchy, and neoliberalism and colonialism.
